My First Day
When I went the first day to "secundaria" (junior high) in Mexico, I was very exited and nervoused at same time, It was my first day in a big city, diferent people, place, city, and diferent school. I was living in a big house far away of my parents and friends
Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving is a day very special, because we give thanks to god for all good things that he gives us every day specialy the food that we have on our table every day. we celebrete with Mexican food that, we prepare with meat of chicken, turkey, pork, and beef. we prepare "Pozole" is a Mexican food cook with pork and corn. we also in thanksgivig meet with all the family my parents, my brother, my sisters, my cousins and friends. that is for me thanksgiving.
Merced Mall
The Merced Mall is a big builting on the Olive street in the city of Merced. In this shopping center. There are three big builtings anchor stores, SEARS, JC.Penney, and MERVYN'S, forming a big rectangle, SEARS on one side, MERVIN'S on the other side, and JC.Penney right in the middle. There are a bunch of smaller specialty stores like ANCHOR BLUE, BIG 5, BORDERS (books), LONGS, and too many more. There are also Restaurants like Burger King, SUBWAY, PEKIN SMORGI, and others. There are big gardens right in the center. In the hall right in front of the stores there are kiosks saling cell phones, jewelery and other things. The mall is rounded by a big parking lot with trees.
Flea Market of Turlock
Turlock's flea market is a special place to go shopping and get same sales, this place is located east street and it has a big parking lot where you pay one dollar to get in every Tusday. Inside the flea market you can find so many things on sale like hats, jackets, shoes, shirts, socks, dresses, blankets, skirts, globes, pants, lencery, blue jeans, glasses, fabrics, CD's, fruits, vegetables, jewelary, and, used items, you can also find food of differents cultures like Mexican, Italian, Chinaesse, American, and others. On summer time you can drink sodas, beers, and aguas frescas are Mexican drinks of differents flavors. You can hear different noises, people yelling and talking and you can hear different songs on stereos of people saling CD's.
Arlenne
My daughter Arlenne, is ten years old, her birthday is on december twenty-eight, and she is in fifth grade. Her favorite hobby is cheerleading. She cheers for Livingston Vikings, is a football team. Arlenne my oldest is followed by two younger brothers, Edgar, nine, and Diego, just one. So she helps her mother with the tasks of the house and helps take care of her youger infant brother. She loves music, is learning how to play the piano, is a good singer. She is very beatiful and nice girl, and I love her very much.
The Traditional Family
The traditional Amercan family, is small, having a father, mother and ideally one son and one daugther. The father works full time and sometimes he works overtime to feed and shelter the family. The mother often works when the children are in the school. The mother helps the children with homework at night. Parents sometimes hire nanny to make food and take care of the children. Managing Time
I have dificulties managing my time. I have become very good at wasting time. I wasting time. I waste a lot of time watching TV. I wait until the last moment to do my homework. Sometimes I have to stay wakeup until four O'clok of the morning to do the assignments.
How I Kill The Time
when I have extra time, I start killing the time going to my bedroom and turn on my electric piano and I spend so much time playing and singing my favorite songs. Sometimes I take my children to the park and we play in the playgroud where we can run, jump and play for long time, then we go to the funworks and we pley on the machines. Sometimes we go to the theter and we watch some movies, we also kill the time going to window shoping and sometimes we spend some money buying items on sale. We spend some time watching the new houses specialy the models, we comparng prices and watchig their decorations.
A Family Value
Good parents teach their children not to said bad words. The parents also teach their children how to live in peace with everybody. They let them know how to share toys and food, how to have love for the life, growing plants and feeding their pets and take care of them. Parents teach their children to respect older and younger people.
Bernardo Pimentel
My name is Bernardo Pimentel Cruz. I am 39 years old, and December 6 is my birthday. I live in Livingston California, a small city located between Atwater and Delhi. My address street is 840 Zelkova Ln. I have lived on this house for 3 years. I don't have an e-mail address yet because I don't have Internet access at home. I worked for Foster Farms for the last twenty-one years. I am a Rendering operator, a job that consists of cook poultry meat, and then separating the fat from the meat by presses. After that the dry meat has to be ground into protein for animal consuption. My faborite hobbie is play the piano and the bass guitar and I do that every Sunday in church.
